Is there a way to view all apps not yet assigned to a folder?

Sunday 28th of April 2013 / androidtablets.net
This is more of a general usability question that I couldn't find the answer to by searching. I am running SLIMZ PHABLET on an A2109. I have over 200 apps I am organizing into folders on my home screen (using Nova Launcher Free). I've got a pretty good start, probably have organized about 50 apps, but have over 150 more to go. So I go into my app drawer looking at over 200 apps trying to remember which ones I've dragged into a folder and which ones I haven't. I see an app and drag it to the desktop, then drag it into a folder only to discover I have already dragged it into the folder already. This becomes frustrating as I have to do one at a time, and sometimes start over when I duplicate effort. Is there a way to view all apps not yet assigned to a folder? thanks

How to unassign a ringtone from a select contact

Wednesday 03rd of November 2010 / forums.androidcentral.com
A while back I assigned a ringtone to one of my contacts and now I want one ringtone for all my contacts, so I set my phone ringtone and that one contact still has the old ringtone. How do I unassign a ringtone to this contact? I don't want a specific ringtone associated to this one contact. My other contacts when you go to edit say "no ringtone specified" but I can't even select that option to assign to my one contact that has the separate ringtone.

I'm not sure about assigning an App (Facebook, twitter, etc..) a specific text tone, but using Go SMS allows you to assign specific tones to individual contacts. Go SMS is free on the Android Market, and allows for all sorts of custom views/alerts, etc...

Assign a ringtone to a group

Sunday 23rd of January 2011 / droidforums.net
Hi everyone, I am trying to figure out how do you assign a ringtone to a contact group. I just made a family group and I'm trying to give everyone the same ringtone. Is there a way to do this without having to change every contact individually to the same ringtone? Thank you in advance.

Assigning a ringtone to a Single person, not everyone :)

Wednesday 25th of July 2012 / androidforums.com
1 Open contacts2 Tap and highlight a Persons name3 Touch far left menu button and that brings up a small screen in bottom4 you will see the following small screen; (lousy ascii art next line lol)edit | shareOptions | delete5 touch "OPTIONS"6 RINGTONE is on top, tap that, >>> Assign ringtone <<< it works!!I just got the Intercept, I searched and nobody had a real answer to this so I found someone who knew how to do it correctlyTo use your own Ringtones, (I saved them as mp3's and they work)Next, you need to create a "Sound" folder on the SD card if it's not there and the Ringtone Menu automatically picks it up after cycling power off and adds them to the List of Ringtones.
