Problem with Juice Defender....won't connect to Data after wifi???

Thursday 12th of January 2012 / androidforums.com
Frustrated with JD because I just can't get it to work properly. I have the Pro version and have set it up correctly - even following a guide I found on this forum:http://androidforums.com/verizon-galaxy-nexus/477968-good-juice-defender-tutorial.htmlThe Problem: I sit on my wifi network all day at the office. When I leave though, it doesn't always switch over to data (but sometimes it does). When it doesn't, I have no data connection at all. Even if I toggle mobile data or airplane mode....nothing. Even if I shut down Juice Defender, I am still unable to get my data connection back up. The only repair is to power cycle the phone. It will boot right into data and run perfectly. This is in a 4g network but I have also tried forcing cdma and it didn't help.Could this be an issue with the phone? Without JD running, I do not experience this problem. What bothers me though, is that data won't come on even after I disable JD.

Juice Defender

Friday 24th of September 2010 / androidforums.com
Is anyone else here using the Juice Defender app? If not, I HIGHLY suggest that you download it immediately. There are two versions in the market. One is a beta and one is the regular or what they call the "stable" version. I am using the beta and it's working great! I don't know the ins and outs of the program yet, but I just installed it and let the program set everything up for me. This morning I pulled my phone off the charger at 8:00 AM to leave for work like I always do, and as of typing this it's about 10:00 AM. My battery is still at 100% per Gauge Battery Widget. I have never stood at 100% after two hours until I installed this app. I will dig deeper into the app over the weekend, but the initial impression is that it really does help. If you get it, post your results here!

Can't get Juice Defender working properly

Tuesday 08th of October 2013 / androidforums.com
Hey all, I've been tinkering with JD plus lately, but can't get it working as I'd like.I am going for a minimalist set-up, as I'm using tasker to control most things. What I'd like out of JD is the ability to control what apps connect to mobile data, and when. The way I've understood it, the JD app configuration should be able to do this.I've JD enabled, advanced profile, only Auto Sync in controls, no schedules, only battery and traffic in triggers (not screen), and configured Chrome as disabled in the app configuration. The controls option in the apps section is set to default.I also tried with equivalent settings and the custom profile.Nevertheless, when I open Chrome and a website, it loads as normal, Chrome's connectivity is not disabled. Why is this happening? A few thoughts:I use tasker for a lot of similar things, could this be relevant? Must mobile data controls be enabled for JD to restrict apps access to mobile data? I tried and it didn't seem to matter. Can JD actually restrict an apps mobile data access directly, or only through toggling the Android mobile data setting on a

S-Planner not working properly

Wednesday 27th of November 2013 / androidforums.com
Hi all - I've just started with a Galaxy S4 (new one week ago) and have bumped into a problem with the built-in Samsung calendar, aka S-Planner. It was working just fine... There have been a bundle of software updates, including moving from Android 4.2.2 to Android 4.3, plus updates to 16 apps. And now S-planner is a bit crippled. Symptoms: the planner opens in month view, showing the current month. The tabs on the right hand side to switch views are not there. The menu (from the bottom left perma-button) doesn't include settings. The missing features were there the other day! Can anyone suggest how to get the app working properly again?[Yes, I do want to continue with S-planner and don't want to install an alternative - unless forced to do so]Thanks in advance for any help.Edit: the problem is on the full-size Galaxy S4. S-Planner runs correctly on the S4 mini, which still has Android 4.2.2
