in car bluetooth connectivity

Wednesday 30th of March 2011 / android.net
I have a N1 and a 20005 BMW 530d with bluetooth prep.. Problem is that the connection between the car and the phone is somewhat transient. By this I mean it disconnects frequently (every 2-3 minutes max and sometimes every few seconds.Gingerbread helped, before that it hardly connected at all. It pairs ok, and then connects. the address book sometimes downloads to the car, but not always. The real issue is the connectivity being lost so frequently,A Nokia 6380 phone works flawlessly with the car, so it's not that the car bluetooth is completely defficient.Ideas greatly appreciated

Bluetooth Not Connecting Automatically

Wednesday 18th of January 2012 / forums.androidcentral.com
I searched the Galaxy Nexus forums, but did not see anything pertaining this topic. I am having a problem with my Galaxy Nexus automatically connecting to my car's bluetooth when I turn on the car. Bluetooth is enabled on the Nexus, and the car and phone are paired, and work fine sometimes. This morning I started the car and watched as the phone did not connect, so I shut the car off, shut the phone off and did a battery pull to restart the phone. When it restarted I started the car and the phone and car connected automatically as it should. I AM using "AutomateIt" to automatically perform certain tasks that have to do with Bluetooth. I disabled it to see if it was causing a problem, but after the battery pull, it is connecting reliably whether AutomateIt is enabled or not. If the problem resurfaces, should I uninstall it to see if the problem disappears? I have it set up and it works reasonably well, so I hate to delete all of those settings and start over if that's not what's causing the problem. Thanks TONY

In-Car Bluetooth Problem with X

Wednesday 21st of July 2010 / forums.androidcentral.com
I have an '09 Nissan and I connected just fine with by Moto X, but no one can hear me speak and it sounds like it's stuttering when I initiate a call. Is anyone else having issues with the X and their bluetooth devices? I may need to replace the specific handset.

Jelly bean update and bluetooth Calling issue - Page 5

Wednesday 20th of March 2013 / forums.androidcentral.com
First let me say that this thread seems to be about two (2) different problems under the same heading of "Problems with Samsung S3/Jellybean/Bluetooth." One problem is dropped bluetooth connection(s) and the other problem is static/noise/garbled sound on stable, connected, OEM in-car bluetooth audio systems. My problem is in the latter category. I have a 2009 Bentley GTC; everything worked fine with my HTC Droid. Bought a new Samsung S3 and it too worked fine -- for two days! Then static/noise/garbled sound (people on other end of calls either got noise or nothing at all); I assume the S3 updated and that's when the trouble began. I went through all the steps with Tmo and Samsung and tried three different S3's from the Tmo store but they all did the same thing, every other brand of phone that was paired with the car worked fine. I finally had the Tmo store give me a Google Nexus 4 which I don't like as well as the S3, but it pairs up in my car and there are no bluetooth problems at all. So clearly the problem (the static/noise one anyway) is squarely in Samsung's lap. Samsu

In-Car Bluetooth Problem

Wednesday 13th of January 2010 / android.net
I'm having problems with the bluetooth in my Nissan Xterra. I says it's connected both on the N1 and on the truck but the audio still comes out of the N1. If I'm already on a phone call, then turn on the bluetooth in the truck, the audio finally comes out of my speakers in the truck from the bluetooth. Anyone else? Any fixes?

Car Bluetooth problems

Friday 20th of April 2012 / androidforums.com
Got a One-s this week but having some extremely infuriating issues when trying to use it on my in-car Bluetooth (Audi MMI). The phone pairs fine with the car and happily sends across phone book and call information. However, every so often the phone will drop the Bluetooth connection with the car. This seems to happen at any time, but is more likely to occur in the first 15 minutes after both are connected. Sometimes the phone will reconnect automatically, but most of the time the only way to reconnect is to go into Bluetooth settings on the phone and manually reconnect. Having done a bit of research, this seems to be a very common problem with HTC phones. If I can't find a way to fix this problem, the phone will have to be returned as it is essential that I can use it reliably with the car.

Car Bluetooth problem.

Sunday 02nd of June 2013 / androidforums.com
Hi all,I have a HTC One X and am in the UK.When my phone connects to Bluetooth hands free in my car, it now keeps cutting off in the middle of a call, from every 10 secs to 1 min and numerous times throughout a call.I have to press the Bluetooth icon on the drive screen and swap it to phone and then back on to Bluetooth to be able to hear the person. It is very frustrating when driving and on business calls.I have tried unpairing and re-entering the pin. Same problem.Any ideas apart from wiping my phone and trying that?I am guessing it isn't my car Bluetooth problem? Thanks

Drive Assist and Car Bluetooth Cutting Out

Thursday 31st of October 2013 / forums.androidcentral.com
I have a Moto X and the drive assist is great. The problem I have is when I pair it to my car Bluetooth. When a call comes in, I get the message "Text from xxxx, say listen to hear it" over my car speakers, before I get a chance to answer, it cuts off the Bluetooth and I get the typical hangup tone from my car Bluetooth. The Bluetooth works just fine on a phone call, the problem is just cutting off the text messages immediately after is asks for a response. Does anyone know how to fix this?

LG G2 Bluetooth Problem - Any Ideas/Solutions

Friday 29th of November 2013 / forums.androidcentral.com
Hi - Im new to this forum. Im hoping someone can help me, because i am baffled. I got the LG G2 2 weeks ago. So far it seems like a great phone, but i have one very annoying problem. BLUETOOTH. I have a 2012 Prius, with Bluetooth, in the past (this is my 3rd smartphone), i leave bluetooth on and when i get into my car it automatically hooks up to the phone. When i leave the car the connection ends, until i get back into the car. I paired the LG G2 to my car - no problems. It paired and everything sounded good. I got to my destination and shut the car (and bluetooth) off. When i got back, turned the car on, and left. About 5 minutes later i realized i had to call work, and i hit the phone icon. I got the message "no bluetooth device set up" - WHAT!?!?!? Did i lose my phone already No, it was in my jacket pocket, but the bluetooth was turned off. I thought it odd, but thought maybe i did it by accident. I engaged bluetooth on the phone and the car paired immediately. Next time im in the car, the same thing happens. As soon as the BT connection ends the phone not only disenga
