DOWNLOAD GAPPS 4.4 KitKat

Friday 01st of November 2013 / droidforums.net
The race for first is over. Dhacker has released Google Apps for KitKat 4.4. You may as well grab these, because there will be plenty of KitKat 4.4. Roms in the coming days. In case you didn't know. Google apps such as gmail, maps, google+, hangouts are mostly not included in custom built aosp roms due to licensing reasons however you still need to flash them when flashing a custom rom, otherwise you won't have the Play Store app and the rom can be pretty much useless without Gapps. Head to the link below and grab these Gapps now!Via Dhacker

[ROM] Kit Kat 4.4 Pure AOSP build for Nexus 7 2013 FLO!

Friday 01st of November 2013 / droidforums.net
Today was the big day! After the Nexus 5 and Kit Kat 4.4 were leaked, or should i say flooded, like crazy for the past week or so Google finally decided to put an end to all the madness. With the release of KitKat 4.4 Google quickly pushed it to the Android Open Source Project. Developers have been equally as quick in bringing Kit Kat to the New Nexus 7. Developer "Papi92" has released his build of Pure Android 4.4 for the FLO variant of the Nexus 7. You won't find any customizations here just pure stock vanilla Android. This appears to be the first of the KitKat roms to be released for the New Nexus 7. Installation is super easy. You will need to be unlocked, rooted, and have custom recovery installed. You can download the Rom and the Gapps from the link below and simply flash both in recovery. Via RootzwikiUpdate: Here it is for the Nexus 7 2012 too!

CM 10.2 Stable Builds Released, CM 11 Nightlies Will Be Next

Tuesday 03rd of December 2013 / feedproxy.google.com
While most of the custom ROM developers are focusing on Android 4.4 KitKat lately, the CyanogenMod team just released the first CM 10.2 stable builds. If you prefer stable Android custom software for your handset, you will now be able to download CM 10.2 stable (Android 4.3 Jelly Bean-based) ¬†from CyanogenMod’s website. The CM 10.2 stable builds that were released by CyanogenMod are generally bug free and more reliable than the other builds like nighties or release candidates. CM 10.2 is not compatible with all the devices supported by the CM team, but it should soon become available for download for most of the recent Nexus phones and tablets and high-end devices that were released over the last 18 months. The ZIP files for the CM 10.2 stable builds are now available for download here. If you’re a regular custom ROM user, you know the drill: download CM 10.2 stable, GApps, copy both on your smartphone, reboot into recovery mode, then flash both packages on your device. If you’re already running Cyanogen you probably won’t have to wipe data..androidgs-mid { wid

The first CM 11 nightly builds were made available about week ago supporting the Nexus family of device. Soon after, the CyanogenMod team released CM 11 nightlies for even more Android devices, but now we hear that the Android 4.4 KitKat-based custom ROM can also be installed on the likes of Sprint LG G2 and Samsung Galaxy Express. If you happen to own one of the two above mentioned devices you will now be able to enjoy the KitKat flavor, too. Of course, you will most likely encounter quite e few bugs since we are talking about CM 11 nightly builds, so be prepared to pay this price if you decide to install CM 11 on your Sprint LG G2 or Samsung Galaxy Express. Those of you who’ve previously installed custom ROMs know the requirements and the installation procedure. The others should know that you will need a rooted smartphone and that the CM 11 install procedure will wipe your device. Afterwords, download CM 11 for Sprint LG G2 (ls980) or Samsung Galaxy Express (expressatt)¬†along with the GApps for Android 4.4 ZIP file, boot in recovery mode, flash both files on your smartphone,

[ROM] Dirty Unicorns -Kitkat- (PREVIEW)

Wednesday 18th of December 2013 / androidforums.com
Google Nexus 7 2013 (Flo) previewFew things..1. This is a preview build. If you download, please leave some feedback. If you run into any issues, try to provide as much info as possible and/or a logcat (if you run into anything that's FC).2. Please DO NOT post this on any forum. Don't be that guy that ends up ruining things for everyone. 3. For those wondering, the kernel source for this ROM is found here: https://github.com/omnirom/android_kernel_asus_floLastly but not least(ly), I wanted to talk a bit more about the ROM itself. After many discussions among ourselves while entertaining some other ideas (pure AOSP and AOKP) - we decided that Omni-ROM best fit what we were trying to do. With that said, we went with Omni-ROM as the base for DU Kitkat.Download link - du_flo_20131217-1040.zip | by NYCHitman1 for Nexus 7 (2013)4.4.2 Gapps - http://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=23269279319195954
