My samsung galaxy note 10.1 won't charge, HELP!

Monday 22nd of April 2013 / androidtablets.net
HELP!yes, I've seen something like this on other threads but I couldn't really find an answer, so please, hear me out.I'm going nuts! So I bought my samsung galaxy note 10.1 around 3 months ago it was fine until a week ago. I couldn't charge it no matter what I tried. At first I just turned off my device and it charged. the second time it didn't help but magically I still managed to charge it. But now it won't charge no matter what I do or how long will I charge. When I connect the charger it shows that device is charging, but it's actually not. when it gets so low as 1% it turns off and doesn't start. But magically I still manage to do something. yesterday I tried charging it with my computer. It showed red X on charging sign but it charged, thought my pc couldn't detect the device. (at first time it detected thought even without Kies) I was almost happy and relieved but in overnight it only gained 38% and wouldn't charge any more.I went through everything I could find but there's no real answer on my problem. I don't know if it's chargers or device fault I even rebooted it, but didn

How to handle batteries?

Sunday 24th of February 2013 / forums.androidcentral.com
New to the Note 2 and curious how to handle the batteries for a longer life? I have 3 electric bikes with Lead acid batteries. Not knowing the first thing about how to handle batteries, I quickly learned that you had to charge the bikes every night and even if you go out for a quick 15 minutes, you MUST charge them right away. This has enabled me to keep each battery for about 2.5 years.Others, new to e-bikes that don't know this, tend to ride the bike until the battery is dead, even if it takes them 4 days to get to this point, and then and only then do they charge them fully. They wonder why their batteries on these e-bikes are pooched within 2 months, Hence, I want to know the best way to charge the phone/battery upon usage?Do i let them get very l ow and then charge or just keep charging them all the time when i am at home with a charger, even if i have, lets say, 48% left? Thanks..

Sony to release slim, attractive external batteries – from 2,000mAh to 7,000mAh in capacity

Tuesday 25th of September 2012 / androidauthority.com
If you’ve experienced one too many low battery blues on your Xperia devices, you may want to look at what Sony will introduce soon – a trio of external battery packs that will allow you to double and even triple the battery life on your phones and tablets.Trust Sony to make products that are easy on the eyes, even when they are merely power packs (Samsung, please take note). Though these external battery models have thin and light aluminum body, they also pack a lot of juice. The first is the CP-F1L model, which has a built-in battery capacity of 3,500mAh. It only weighs 125 grams and is 9.4mm thick. You can fully recharge the battery in less than 4 hours when using the AC adapter. Charging through USB is also possible, but it will take 8 hours. The second one, which has the biggest capacity out of the bunch, is the CP-F2L model. With its huge 7,000mAh capacity, this portable power pack weighs 198 grams and is 12.99mm thick. Unlike its above cousin, this one has two USB ports, so you can charge two devices at the same time. And as for something that looks different, there’s the CP

How are you guys charging the note 3 for the first time?

Sunday 29th of September 2013 / forums.androidcentral.com
So far for any new recent gadget I've been charging it to full out of the box, then running it down until it shuts off and then full charge again. Maybe repeat for another cycle or two before using it regularly. How are you guys going to "optimize" the battery if you believe in that?

Is the Note a problem-prone phone?

Wednesday 16th of October 2013 / androidforums.com
Is the Note a particularly fault-prone phone? Ive had mine for a bit less than 18 months, on a 2 year contract. Today I had to send it off to Samsung to be repaired for the second time since Ive had it. Both problems have been related as well, in the latter case the phone kept resetting itself, which ate the battery something chronic - the first time it was also to do with the phone restarting randomly and problems charging. Its not relevant to the topic at hand directly, but Im told Samsung have committed to have it back to me within 2-3 weeks. So 3 weeks. Which pisses me right off as I am now left with a very basic phone that does nothing for me in terms of internet, music or anything else except making calls. My last phone (and the one before it) was an HTC and I had no problems with it like this. The worst thing that happened was the accumulation of dust in the power port which made charging a bit of an issue, until someone suggested cleaning it out with a pin, which worked a treat. Hardly as serious an issue as the Note's power problems, and crucially I was never without my phone

First time charging time Note 3

Monday 04th of November 2013 / androidforums.com
I just bought my first Android phone which is Note 3. First time unboxing at the store, the battery shows around 53% left. The store person said to let it drain first and charge it for good 6 hours and don't let it stays charged overnight because it will make the battery don't last longer. After I drain it and charge it, it shows full charged just in 4 hours. So I unplugged and use as usual. But then I notice the battery drain quite fast. On medium/low usage, it only last for a day. From what I heard, Note 3 battery should last longer as the capacity of the battery is bigger by 100mAh from Note 2. I saw some impressive battery life on Note 2. That is why I choose Note 3 thinking it would be as good as or even better than Note 2.Is there any way of charging your battery for first time for Note 3? Since the charger using USB 3.0, the charging period was shorter. Any advise? Did I do something wrong with my device.

Battery Issue with the Note 3

Monday 18th of November 2013 / forums.androidcentral.com
Hi guys. A month a go i bought a UK (Vodafone) Note 3 and i must say i love the phone. The first couple of weeks the Note started crashing every time i was about start an app or type something, so it went back to vodafone and they replaced it with a new one. So far after reading reviews more about the Note 3, I hear people are claiming they are getting a day and half of battery life at least on a single charge ( heavy use). But mines doesn't last a day if i watch a few youtube videos, Facebook and whatsapp. This afternoon i finished charging my phone at 2pm then i opened the Facebook app for no more than 2min then the battery dropped 2% from a 100. So now its 11.50pm and i've got 45% battery life left and all i've been doing is going on Facebook for 10mins made 3 phone calls (less than 2mins) Watched two 15secs video clip and sent 6 messages. Doesn't sound right on the Noe 3 right? I read a post about a guy who watched a 2hour video on full brightness and only took 10% of battery life. So what should i do guys? my Gps Bluetooth are all off and the brightness is set to auto.

Samsung Now Has The Galaxy Note 3 Wireless Charging S-View Flip Cover In Stock Online For $69.99

Thursday 26th of December 2013 / feedproxy.google.com
Samsung has a large and growing selection of accessories for its many Android devices, ranging from spare battery chargers to Bluetooth headsets and replacement parts. It's also crammed with various covers and cases, some of which even provide an extra degree of functionality. That is especially the case (giggle) with the Galaxy Note 3 Wireless Charging S-View Flip Covers that are now finally available from Samsung's online shop. This product combines the official wireless charging cover and the S-View Flip Cover into one, making the Galaxy Note 3 the first to receive this combo. Samsung only offered one or the other for the Galaxy S4 and the Note II, but not both. Like the S-View Flip Cover, this case has a transparent opening that provides access to the time and other information without having to flip it open. The back supports wireless charging. This functionality doesn't come cheap, though. You're looking at handing over $69.99, and that 50% off code won't work here. But if you remain undeterred, the Galaxy Note 3 Wireless Charging S-View Flip Cover is available in black and whit

Won't charge / Grey Battery

Sunday 29th of December 2013 / androidforums.com
I have AT&T, Galaxy S4, that I've only had since 3-4 weeks ago. A few nights ago, two things happened: my phone (in its case) fell off my bed onto a carpeted floor, and, the phone died overnight. This was the 1st, maybe 2nd time that the phone had completely died.Regardless of which of the two of those caused this, my phone began exhibiting bizzare charging behavior the following day. I have two stock wall chargers, another non-OEM USB charger, and an amazon kindle charger. First, nothing but the amazon kindle charger would work. Then, after unplugging the phone and re-plugging it, that wouldn't work either. But, after turning the phone off and then on again, the amazon charger would work. After unplugging it again, no chargers whatsoever would work, regardless of restarting or Shut Off + Turn On. When any of these chargers was plugged in and the phone was on, absolutely nothing would happen: no change to battery symbol, no note that USB is connected, etc. If the phone is off, and a charger plugged in, the phone would vibrate, a grey battery icon would appear, and then this cycle
