Droid keyboard is too hard/Best onscreen keyboard?

Wednesday 21st of July 2010 / droidforums.net
After 3 months with my phone The hardware keyboard has become too hard, the keys are hard as hell so i find myself using the onscreen keyboard instead, is anyone else having this issue? Btw whats your favorite keyboard? I think mine would have to be the droid x keyboard, i cant believe this is the only multitouch keyboard on android, and what makes a muktitouch keyboard better u might say, well if u type really fast there will be less errors because the screen is able to register 2 taps at the same time instead of having to wait till u lift finger, i wish the droid x keyboard had long press caracters like the htc keyboardAnother thing i have noticed is vibration makes virtual keyboards react slower or is it my imagination?

onscreen keyboard-no sound

Saturday 14th of November 2009 / droidforums.net
Hello, I'm having a small problem with the onscreen keyboard. For some reason it will not play sound when I tap a key. It worked last night, and stopped working this morning. I tried turning on and turning off the sound option under the keyboard settings in the setting menu. i tried turning off the keyboard compleatly and turning it back on and it still does not work. I tested the vibrate function and it turns on and off when I make the changes in the menu. has anyone else had this issue? If so how did you fix it. Thanks for your help!
