external sd - Trouble with SD card in Prestigio Multipad PMP3370B

Monday 24th of December 2012 / android.stackexchange.com
I've recently been given a Prestigio Multipad PMP3370B (Android 4.0) which I thought would be nice for my daughter to watch videos on. I took an 8GB micro SDHC card from my Windows 7 laptop (NTFS format) and put it into the SD card slot but it wasn't detected. After a bit of a read I tried formatting it as FAT32/exFat and inserting it but for both formats when going to the system settings screen > storage screen there is no card listed and no option to do anything. So I have two questions:How can I be sure the SD card is inserted correctly? It seems like it wants to slip outHow can I get an SD card working with this deviceI don't want to go out and get a new SD card until I'm sure it works correctly as otherwise it would be a waste of money.

Prestigio 5080b firmware

Monday 02nd of April 2012 / androidtablets.net
Hi folks,New to site, names matt.Ive got a prestigio 5080b and to be fair, i have been loving it !!! It ticks all the boxes you could ask in my opinion.that said, i do have some niggly problems. my main issues are that when they send through an automatic update, it deletes all your stuff if you dont backup to a pc etc.Secondly, i have been told by their support to download a new firmware off trheir website...now, im not tech savvy in the very slightest and i did infact think these firmware were what my tablet automatically picked up when they were released. This isnt true as they released one yesterday and in march that i never got.Firmware confuses me., i cannot seem to get it to work whatsoever. I am thick in this so i need to know how this works and such. Also, do i need to download all the previous updates before the current one?If someone has experience with the tablet or similar any advice would be hugely appreciated. Thanks,Matt

Prestigio PMP5770 Firmware update help requested.

Thursday 18th of April 2013 / androidtablets.net
First off, I'd like to point out that I am relatively tech savvy when it comes to PCs, but tablets are a whole new world for me, so please be gentle! I have just purchased a Prestigio PMP5770 Multipad. All seems well so far, but I wanted to update it to the latest firmware. I tried the update software app, but that didn't work, so I downloaded the firmware straight from the Prestigio site. The problem is that the manual is not exactly helpful! It has the following: "Format SD card into the FAT32 filesystem.2. Copy files:- Update.zip- factory_update_param.aml- uImage_recoveryfrom the folder /Firmware into the SD card.3. Power off the device, press and hold

"Download was unsuccessful." - Android market (Prestigio Multipad)

Saturday 19th of May 2012 / androidforums.com
I just bought a new tablet, Prestigio Multipad, creat google account, connected to Wifi and when I want to download something from Android Market it always says "Download was unsuccessful. Please try again." How to fix that, what's the problem? EDIT: I did factory reset, still the same problem. Can't download anything since bought it.EDIT2: It happened probably because I updated Firmware. I saw that some person had also the similar problem after upadating it, but that person wrote: "just reflashed to F7 rom then at the option i chose clear partition cache and also clear all user data etc, basically the phone booted as it came out of the box..."I do not understand a single word what that person wrote (flashed to f7 rom) so can somebody explain please!
