Printing From Galaxy Note 3

Saturday 02nd of November 2013 / forums.androidcentral.com
Have a new Note 3 and love it. I want an easy way to print from the Note 3. Right now I have to email anything I want to print to myself, then go to my laptop and print it out. Surely there is another way. I have heard of Bluetooth printers, is it possible to get an inexpensive one and print directly to it? I have a WiFi hot spot in my home, is there a way to use it to connect to a printer even if I have to purchase a new inexpensive printer?

Samsung Releases First Android 4.4.2 Build For The Exynos-Powered Galaxy Note 3, Including Kernel Source

Monday 20th of January 2014 / feedproxy.google.com
Samsung saw fit to sneak Android 4.4.2 out on the international Snapdragon-based Note 3 last week (starting with Poland, for some reason), but now things are picking up steam. The first 4.4.2 updates are arriving for the Exynos Note 3 (SM-N900). First up on the update list this time is Russia. This update includes all the behind-the-scenes Android 4.4.2 enhancements, but it has those stylish white status bar icons too. Also in this update is wireless printing, emoji support, Hangouts SMS integration, and more. You can pick up the firmware below from SamMobile, but you'll have to register (it probably won't work on any other Note 3 variant). The update should slowly make its way out to the rest of the world in the coming weeks. Samsung also rolled out the kernel source for KitKat on the Note 3 (SM-N900) at the same time, which you can get from Samsung's developer site. It's probably only of interest if you're a developer, but at least there won't be as much confusion about what Samsung's doing. Samsung Galaxy S4 Android 4.4.2 OTA Update to Roll Out at US Cellular Tomorrow

Tuesday 18th of February 2014 / feedproxy.google.com
According to a leaked US Cellular document, the Android 4.4.2 OTA update for their Samsung Galaxy S4 variant will be rolled out tomorrow, February 19th.The internal document calls the Android 4.4.2 update for Samsung Galaxy S4 a “maintenance release,” but you shouldn’t fear that you won’t get the same features as the owners of the international or Sprint (which is the first US model to receive KitKat) variants. Of course, the changes will not be significant, because most of the software features introduced by Galaxy Note 3 have been patched in the Android 4.3 update.Aside the usual KitKat goodies such as transparent status bar, white status bar icons, immersive mode, Cloud Printing, or full screen album art in lockscreen, you will also notice that the Daily Perks and MobiTiles apps has been removed from the operating system. If you happened to use these two apps, you would be able to find them in Google Play..androidgs-mid { width: 300px; height: 250px; float:left; padding-right:5px;}@media(min-width: 500px) { .androidgs-mid { width: 300px; height: 250px; } }@

T-Mobile Galaxy Note 3 gets KitKat update

/ feedproxy.google.com
495MB over-the-air update brings T-Mo's Note 3 up to latest Android versionIt looks like the Galaxy S4 isn't the only Samsung phone seeing a KitKat OTA today — T-Mobile's Galaxy Note 3 is also arriving at Android 4.4.2 this morning, by way of a 495MB over-the-air update. As we've seen from previous Note 3 KitKat updates, the new firmware shouldn't do much to change the look and feel of Samsung's 5.7-inch handset, with the most noticeable change being the switch to all-white status bar icons.Note 3 owners on T-Mobile will also benefit from the usual KitKat features, including immersive mode, transparent notification bars in some apps, and built-in cloud printing support. If you're seeing the OTA on your T-Mobile Note 3 this morning, be sure to hit the comments and make yourself known!Source: Android Central forums; Thanks to everyone who sent this in!
