To change that, some XDA members combined forces to put together the RENOVATE Gaming Boost app.//The RENOVATE Gaming Boost app automates several steps needed to tweak the HTC One X for maximum gaming performance. Using the app, “sets all the cores to ondemand, tweaks the sampling rate, up threshold and sampling down factor, enables gpu frequency scaling, switches to the deadline scheduler and tweaks the mnfrees” according to wilkyyyy, XDA Senior Member, who ported code originally written by XDA Senior Member henk2484 to the HTC One X. Another XDA member, Recognized Contributor hamdir,  had written a tutorial describing many of the methods that were ultimately included in the app and has since updated his own work to reflect usage of this app.I

CoreControl App for HTC One X gives you more CPU control - Android Authority

Sunday 20th of May 2012 / androidauthority.com
If you’re an Android user who loves to root your phone, you’re probably well versed on the benefits of apps that allow you to control your phone’s CPU. From over and under clocking, to setting CPU governors, apps such as SetCPU give you ultimate control over the performance and power saving of your device.  Now the good folks over at XDA-Developers have developed a similar app for the quad-core HTC One X.CoreControl, created by XDA member Meltus, allows you to control how many cores in the HTC One X are active at time. Root access is of course a requirement, and the app will simply force close on an unrooted device. The app is quite useful if you aren’t getting the battery life you need, or your quad-core beast starts running a bit hot.FeaturesAs you can see in the screenshot, CoreControl gives you many options beyond just how many cores are running. Similar to SetCPU, you can set different profiles, and each profile allows you to set how many cores will run based on two factors. First, you can set a profile that will change how many cores are running based on battery level.

Roku app, on HTC One X

Friday 11th of October 2013 / androidforums.com
Although this sounds like device specific question, it is not.Roku app for android offers video streaming for only 4 devices but Play Store reviews of other device users show that it works with other devices too. I just don't know how.The example is HTC One X. According to reviews, it works but I do not see that option on my phone. Neither share with ROku is possible. I wonder those users of ROku app, which it does not support officially, how do you manage video streaming? Thanks in advance
