Need help having problems with zte warp

Tuesday 05th of February 2013 / androidforums.com
Hello i am very frustrated by the fact that i have been unable to root my zte warp (i know its posted in other threads, please let me explain). i am a NOOB, everytime i go and find root software it dosent work and appearently i need like special drivers? i am running windows 7 on my computerbasically what im asking is 1. please give me everything on how to start the rooting process (from the begining, that means first install, blah blah drivers then do this then etc...)2.step by step instruction 3.when you say drivers does it mean when i plug my phone into the computer and it says "would you like to install software", would that be considered the drivers you keep mentioning to 4. how long will it takei understand you have to do this clockworkmod thing, but when i downloaded that ultimate warp drive file and i started the rooting i would follow all instructions and i would get past the first 2 questions then it says "first we will install clockworkmod recovery.rebooting into bootloader...* daemon not running. starting it now on port 5037**daemon started successfullyflas

Apps crashing

Thursday 12th of September 2013 / androidforums.com
When I first got my Zte Warp Sequent apps like Opera Mini rarely crashed. Opera Mini is a browser that can be used on phones with specs not as good as the Sequent. It is not an app that should crash regularly on the Sequent. But now it does. I have others that do too. Also Opera Mini seems to crash more when the ram memory is being hogged by too many things. Is there a way to limit how much ram the phone uses without rooting it? If I go to developer options and limit background processes it does not seem to reduce ram usage. Is there an app that will cap the ram and keep it at 350 or so? This phone seems to be either using more ram then it used to or it cannot handle it anymore when gets too high.

zte warp problems after rooting

Friday 11th of October 2013 / androidforums.com
I have read so many forums and posts and tried so many different things that I figure the easiest thing to do now is just post my own question. I rooted my Boost mobile ZTE Warp and thought that I had done everything right. It worked great with no problems for about a week. I forgot to charge my phone and after it died I charged it and it charged fine and turned on, or so I thought. It would not go passed the android logo. I am unable to turn it back off with the power button so I took the battery out for about ten seconds and put it back in, and this time turned it on in Android System Recovery <3e> and did the cache and data wipe and also a factory reset and still got no further than the android logo. I can also get the phone into FTM mode. What could have happened and is there a way that I can fix this problem? Help? Please? And thank you

Any way to get games to actually play? (Rooted ZTE Warp)

Sunday 27th of October 2013 / androidforums.com
Ever since I got my ZTE Warp almost any game I tried to play would either force stop, freeze, or just close without warning. After rooting and speeding up my phone, it still happens. Has anyone found a way to fix this? I kill all of my unused tasks so I don't run out of ram, and I have voltage control set pretty high. My current ROM is HaloBean 7 but it's been like this for every ROM I've tried.

{HOW TO} Properly Update to Jelly Bean, ROOT & Install CWM!!!

Friday 29th of November 2013 / androidforums.com
There's only two reasons why you might still be on ICS B09 for the warp Sequent. Number 1 is if you used the ZTE tool to restore your device or you just never updated to Jellybean for some odd reason lol.Things you need to do:Restore to complete stock ICS no mods or edits to the system whatsoever. If you've never rooted before your fine but if you have and you are still rooted, i suggest you restore your phone to complete stock with the zte tool. Make sure you do not have cwm installed and that you have stock recovery installed.Disclaimer: I am NOT responsible for any damage you cause to your phone. This ROM/Instructions are specifically made for the Boost Mobile ZTE Warp Sequent, DO NOT attempt to try it on any other phone or carrier. I have successfully tested this Method of Updating and rooting on my device. If you are not familiar with these methods, I'd suggest that you do some research elsewhere to better understand before you attempt anything on your device.Installation:1. Download the OfficalJellyBeanOTA.zip and place it onto your sdcard2. Power off your phone and boot into r

need help with wifi tether protocols

Friday 20th of December 2013 / androidforums.com
I just got this ZTE warp 4g N9510. I just finished rooting the phone. I am having a problem with the protocols for the wifi tether prog http://code.google.com/p/android-wifi-tether/ . I can't get my laptop to see the ZTE wifi hotspot even when wifi encryption is completlly turned off and the phone is an open hotspot. My old phone a Kyocera Hydro had no problem running the wifi tether prog. The wifi hotspot on my Kyocera Hydro phone wasn't much faster then dialup. But as an aux backup isp when the primary broadband isp is down, it works in a pinch. I had some extra cash so I got a faster phone.Steve

Rooted (?) ZTE Warp want to activate to Booste Mobile

Sunday 29th of December 2013 / androidforums.com
My mother purchased a ZTE Warp on eBay for me. I don't know anything about rooting phones, transferring them to different carriers and all that jazz. I just like using the phones the way they were intended. Is there some way to return the phone back to Boost Mobile, so that I can then activate it with my phone number and get rid of this @!$!#$% Samsung Galaxy Prevail (STUPIDEST smart phone I've ever touched). I believe the phone is rooted because I see an app called "super user" and according to the description in Play Store this app is only installed by a rooting rom. Please advise!JustinOH!1.) Model Number ? M8602.) Firmware Version ? (HW version?) c4tB3.) Baseband Version ? N860B014.) Kernel Version ? 2.6.35-perf+zte-kernel@zdroid-smt5.) Build Number ? (Android version?) 2.3.5BTW I'm technically savvy, just with desktop computers. I will probably be able to do some technical stuff if needed... just plz help!
