[Help] ROOTING a ZTE Majesty

Saturday 12th of October 2013 / forums.androidcentral.com
So, I'm in a predicament. I just bought a new ZTE Majesty from Straight Talk. It arrived just today and ever since I got it, I've been trying to find ways to root it... but to no avail. I've tried several different methods such as doing it manually, Superoneclick, and this one way I found on Youtube (). Now, the one on Youtube actually kind of WORKS, but the problem is that it doesn't stay... and when you try to run a root program, it says something like "Superuser cannot request super authority" or something like that. After a restart, the Superuser disappears from the phone. I do realize this is a new phone and all... and what makes it worse is that it is Android 4.1.2. There has got to be someone out there who has cracked this already. If there is, please do help. My brain is melting from trying to figure this stuff out XD Thanks so much you guys.

Need Help Rooting ZTE Majesty

I'm not sure if my bootloader can be unlocked or not because I can't enter the service menu. Hmmm...Thanks so much you guys.

(ZTE Majesty) Some callers can hear me, some can't.

Saturday 01st of February 2014 / forums.androidcentral.com
Hey there, everyone. I'm a bit new here, but I'm looking for a solution to a problem I've been having for a little while now. So, to briefly explain, I'm a Straight Talk user. I bought a ZTE Majesty from Straight Talk back in late December and I activated it in early January. The phone is great, very few complaints at all. It's my first Android as well. My problem is with the calling, and I'm mostly getting this complaint from my father as it seems to only be on calls with him that I have this issue. My father doesn't have an Android. It's a really basic flip phone. It seems that there's times when he can't hear me at all, and if he does it sounds mumbled. When I put him on speaker, there seems to be no issue at all. I've tried going to a different area in the case of low signal, and that doesn't seem to be the source of the problem. Can someone tell me what might be the cause of this? It seems to only be on calls with him, but I've had occasions where other people can't hear me as well. I typically have little, if any, apps running when I call him. However, I do have Skype on my p

ZTE Majesty symbols in text

Thursday 06th of March 2014 / forums.androidcentral.com
Hello all. I just bought a ZTE Majesty. and when im texing on it, it is inserting crazy symbols that show on the other persons screen but not on my own. (example. when I text someone saying "hey how are you doing" it looks right on my screen with no weird symbols, but on their screen it looks more like "&&*Hey&how are you&&*#doing" I have tried texting various people, all with different phones and carriers and it does the same thing every time, so I know its an issue with MY PHONE! please help! I have turned off all keyboard options trying to fix this (spell corrector, word predictor, auto caps etc)

ZTE majesty Straight Talk

Wednesday 23rd of April 2014 / forums.androidcentral.com
So I upgraded from my Samsung Galaxy Proclaim (rooted) to the ZTE Majesty. All of the horrendous issues with syncing and power control and notorious bloatware have been resolved with this phone (no need to root). It's truly a beautiful gadget and I'm it's proud owner, but... I have one major gripe with the headset volume being too low. I have a long drive to work and enjoy listening to my music. I never had an issue with the proclaim but despite maxing the volume in the settings, this ZTE just isn't hacking it. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance. Posted via Android Central App
